Based in Hoboken, NJ, SMP Events is a boutique wedding planning company. This business specializes in highly personalized, one-of-a-kind smaller weddings and is crafting “mini-monies” followed by intimate family celebrations during this uncertain 2020 summer/fall season. They focus on day-of coordination and bespoke small weddings, and are happy to travel to upstate New York and Long Island in addition to the New York/ New Jersey metro area. SMP Events creates weddings that are completely unique and unlike any other that your guests will have seen before. Owner and lead planner Susan is happy to provide Covid-19 re-planning assistance in addition to traditional support one- three months before your wedding…or whenever is most convenient for you. She gets to know her clients personally, to understand all of the elements they want to include and how she can best help. This planner takes all of the arrangements you have made and ties up any loose ends, freeing up your time to fully take in this experience. Susan loves being able to help couples bring their vision for their dream wedding to life. She specializes in beautiful, small gatherings that align with her client’s own sense of style. From contemporary chic to rustic elegance, Susan and her team at SMP Events love to see their customers’ ideas blossom. Before founding this business in 2004, Susan worked for various catering companies and corporate event planners around New York City. From there, she began planning refined cocktail and dinner parties, and luxurious weddings. Together with her team, she hopes to help you design a day for memories you can treasure forever.
