In the fall of 2012, after producing a handful of wonderful weddings, the word of mouth referrals catapulted the one-woman wedding planning show into a high-demand wedding planning business. The company now consists of Jacquelyn and five wedding planners Dana, Liz, Joy, Jeanna and Nicole. The Farmstead is where magical weddings happen. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be transported to a world away, all just minutes away from Lambertville/New Hope, Princeton, and central New Jersey. In this bucolic setting, you’ll make memories to last a lifetime. Our beautifully restored 100-year-old barn offers the perfect celebration space. You will also find an idyllic backdrop with our farmhouse, which dates back more than 300 years, gorgeous historic carriage house, and Black River Western train.

With our remarkable attention to detail, planning your wedding will be an effortless experience with Buds & Events. From choosing the right vendors, to designing and executing your very own wedding vision, and even after your final dance of the night, we’ll be there to support you.

The Meadowbrook offers excellent catering facilities in the romantic park setting of a 100-year-old Hudson Valley estate. Beautiful landscaped gardens outside are complimented inside by three elegantly appointed catering suites complete with private cocktail lounges, bridal rooms and spacious dining accommodations for 50 to 700 people.

Bowdoin Park is a picturesque 301 acre park located on the banks of the Hudson River, off Sheafe Road, in the Town of Poughkeepsie, NY. Scenic views of the Hudson River, open areas for picnicking, an award-winning handicapped-accessible playground area and a water spray park are just the beginning of what Bowdoin Park has to offer. There are now five pavilions (4 handicapped-accessible), a community room, two softball fields, three soccer fields, a sand volleyball court and half-court basketball. And let’s not forget the historic Ellessdie Chapel or the Mapleknoll Lodge with its impressive view -perfect for weddings, receptions and holiday parties.
