Rustic Wedding On A Farm In The Hudson Valley!
We are located less than 2 hours from New York City in the Hudson Valley at the foothills of the Catskills. Crested Hen is a 32 acre farm on the banks of the Rondout Creek with many buildings including a recently renovated 1790’s dairy barn that is the perfect venue for your wedding, multiple farm buildings including chicken coop for all our crested hens, and an 1820’s eye brow colonial house main house. In addition to our hens and roosters, the property features hay fields, formal gardens, ancient trees, cutting gardens and herb patch that make a magnificent backdrop to your wedding. Peconic River Herb Farm is a destination nursery & garden on the beautiful east end of L.I. Open April- Oct. A peaceful riverfront oasis with 8 greenhouses! Peconic River Herb Farm supplies the venue which includes a large riverfront lawn and garden areas, parking areas, electricity, and water for clean-up, and two on-site portable lavatories. Our Glass Greenhouse and patio areas are suitable and available for smaller gatherings. The event organizer is responsible for supplying a tent (if needed), additional lavatories, food, music, seating, trash removal, party supplies, photographer, flowers, and all additional needs for their event.
