Historical Wedding and Reception Venue in Newark
Located on the lower level at Newark Symphony Hall, the TERRACE BALLROOM, with a capacity of 800, is one of metro-Newark’s largest meeting/banquet spaces that is also ideal for weddings and receptions. This large open space features a sunken dance floor with an elevated stage and two side terraces. THE LOBBY of the Sarah Vaughan Concert Hall provides a unique setting for your intimate, special celebration with a capacity of 250 standing reception and 200 seated dinner. Tables (6’ and 60’ round) and chairs are available along with 3 bars (one located in the Newark Room). THE STUDIO is perfect for small gatherings with a 100 standing reception and 40 seated open conference style. The area is carpeted and includes restrooms, private back room and welcome area ideal for check-ins.
