The Highlands Ballroom, located in the former church, is The Abbey Inn’s premier event space offering undeniable “wow factor.” At over 2,000 square feet with cathedral ceilings, this soaring space can be customized for a wide range of gatherings from a spectacular wedding to a business conference with full A/V capabilities. The Cornerstone Room at The Abbey Inn, located in the former convent, is the perfect venue for smaller events or a more intimate wedding. This beautiful 742 square-foot room, adorned with historic hand painted ecclesiastical wall coverings and stained-glass windows, complimented with contemporary lighting, creates a one-of-a-kind memorable space. This unique room is located in the hotel building within the former convent chapel and features a double height cathedral ceiling. Key to The Abbey Inn & Spa鈥檚 uniqueness is its location on historic Fort Hill, site of an American outpost during the Revolutionary War, as well as its setting within the former convent of the Episcopal Sisters of Saint Mary鈥檚, built at the turn of the century.

Before it became our beloved event venue, the historic Crystal Plaza was originally a residential mansion. The initial Livingston, New Jersey-based residence was built in the late 1800s by famed architect Stanford White, who was responsible for designing the Tiffany building on Fifth Avenue, the original Madison Square Garden complex and the arch at Washington Square Park in Manhattan, among other landmark structures. While the restored building has since been reincarnated as one of the leading wedding and event spaces in the tri-state area, it still maintains the feeling of its 19th century grandeur, making it a distinct and picturesque setting for special days of all kinds.
